Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) Partnership
The Fremont Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) have formed a partnership for the purpose of bringing new business to our member businesses.
If you are a member of either the Fremont Chamber or the GSBA, you may join the other chamber at a 50% savings. Small business membership in GSBA is $350. As a dues paying member of the Fremont Chamber, your GSBA member dues will be $175.
For those not familiar with the Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA), it is the largest LGBT Chamber in the United States with over 1000 members and it has been serving the greater Seattle area since 1981. GSBA is well known for their print Guide & Directory with a circulation of over 20,000; an online directory, a quarterly print publication, a weekly eNews and a newly released iPhone app. In addition, GSBA sponsors bi-monthly business lunches, after-hours Prime Time Mixers, Young Professionals with Pride Mixers and quarterly Women at the Top Cocktail Hours, as well as bi-weekly OutLeads Referral groups, together offering over 80 networking opportunities per year. GSBA also sponsors three large galas, including a Business and Humanitarian Awards Dinner, the TASTE of GSBA and a Scholarship Dinner. In addition to being a vibrant and growing business chamber, GSBA is known for its loyal support of the LGBT and Allied business community; advocacy on small business issues and promotion of equality in business. GSBA also sponsors a scholarship fund and gives out over $135k per year to undergraduate students in Washington State, recently having surpassed giving out its millionth dollar in scholarships.
The next edition of the GSBA will be publishing its 2011-2012 GSBA print Guide goes to the publisher at the end of March. To be included in this next edition, you will need to be a paid member of the Fremont Chamber and a member of the GSBA by March 31, 2011.
