Get
your walking shoes on each and every FIRST FRIDAY of the
month for FREMONT ART WALK. Historically one of Seattles
most reputable arts communities, Fremont is home to dozens of arts
venues. While youre out, dont forget to visit the classic
icons: the Lenin statue, the Troll living under the Aurora Bridge,
and the infamous Fremont Rocket. Most venues serve refreshments
and snacks. Please join us in the Center of the Universe to celebrate
our diverse local arts community!!!

FAQs
Where can I pick up a guide map?
Art Walk guide maps list the venues, their locations and have a map
to reference. They can be picked up at Frame-Up Studios @ 3515
Fremont Ave and at many other venues and shops though out Fremont.
How do I participate in Fremont Art Walk?
For Businesses/ Local Venues: To participate and be listed
as Art Walk venue, please contact LaRae and Cory at fremontfirstfriday@yahoo.com or (206) 261-6300. Applications for membership will be available in April, and due in May, 2007. You are expected to stay open
to the public for the event and have art work on display. There is
a fee for membership which gets you color maps/ brochures to hand
out, color posters, listing in monthly press releases and in Arts
Access, and other marketing, TBA.
For Artists: It is recommended that artists visit different
venues to choose one that may be suitable for their work. Many businesses
are looking for local artists to exhibit, so dont be shy! Artists
and business are responsible for making arrangements to share artwork/
music/ installations, ETC.
Can businesses participate without being listed
on the map?
Absolutely! Everyone can be a part of Art Walk without official
membership. The fees are for promotional materials only. We welcome
all- the more folks involved, the bigger and better the event will
be!
