FAQ’s

Where can I pick up a guide map?

Art Walk guide maps list the venues, their locations and have a map to reference. They can be picked up at Frame-Up Studios @ 3515 Fremont Ave and at many other venues and shops though out Fremont.

How do I participate in Fremont Art Walk?

For Businesses/ Local Venues:
To participate and be listed as Art Walk venue, please contact LaRae and Cory at fremontfirstfriday@yahoo.com or (206) 261-6300.  Applications for membership will be available in April, and due in May, 2007. You are expected to stay open to the public for the event and have art work on display. There is a fee for membership which gets you color maps/ brochures to hand out, color posters, listing in monthly press releases and in Arts Access, and other marketing, TBA.

For Artists: It is recommended that artists visit different venues to choose one that may be suitable for their work. Many businesses are looking for local artists to exhibit, so don’t be shy! Artists and business are responsible for making arrangements to share artwork/ music/ installations, ETC.

Can businesses participate without being listed on the map?

Absolutely! Everyone can be a part of Art Walk without “official” membership. The fees are for promotional materials only. We welcome all- the more folks involved, the bigger and better the event will be!
